The government had rolled out the QR scan system for getting OPD tickets as a pilot project in a few hospitals in April. Among them was the IPGMER, SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. Now the health department has asked all medical colleges and district hospitals to make the system available to patients with immediate effect.
