Detecting something abnormal on a scan is an extremely difficult task. It requires a significant amount of training. Specifically, when you look at a scan, maybe there are four or five pixels that might not be right, such as a small nodule on a scan, and that makes that scan abnormal. That increases the difficulty of training these algorithms.
