A baby named Thaddeus Daniel Pierce was born in Ohio, the United States, from an embryo frozen in 1994. It made him the world’s oldest known frozen embryo to result in a successful birth. The embryo had been preserved for 30 years before being adopted by a couple struggling with infertility.
